You need to top up ETH mainnet assets to L2 30 minutes in advance, because the top up time will vary from 5-10 minutes, depending on the arrival time. Link RPC to ETH mainnet, the left side is L1 assets while the right side is L2 assets. Enter the balance you want to top up to L2 in the blank arrow and click (deposit) to wait for the account to arrive, then you have finished topping up L1 to L2.
Click on the blue font in the red box (Add/Switch to Arbitrum Network) and metamask will prompt to automatically switch the RPC link to the Arbitrum one network.
